January 14,2010 1430 CST:
As you probably know, even under normal conditions, there are only a few ham radio operators in Haiti and there will be a huge amount of traffic to handle in days ahead. So there is an urgent need for operators. Basically, VE2KA is looking for ham radio operators fluent in french and english to operate HF stations in Haiti. You must have a valid passport and be prepared to bring your own HF equipment.
Those interested should contact VE2KA preferably via Skype but I suppose an e-mail should do as well.
